Virtual servers
VPS/VDS (Virtual Private Server, Virtual Dedicated Server) hosting is a service in the framework of which the user is provided with a virtual dedicated server. This solution allows usage of all advantages and opportunities of a separated physical server (collocation), combining them with more attractive pricing policy. VDS server allows you to use as many resources as you wish without overpaying for downtime.
Virtualization technology based on Xen is used for creation of virtual servers. Distribution of resources of CPU and operating memory is carried out at level of virtual machines. The total amount of resources allocated to all virtual machines always fits into the physical server resources. Lack of overselling (placing on a server more virtual machines than available within CPU time and operating memory) is one of the main advantages comparing with other virtualization technologies. It provides reliability, stability, and guarantees performance of your virtual server, regardless of usage of resources by other customers.
For managing your virtual server we recommend using the control panel Webmin which is available free of charge within all tariff plans. Using it provides you with simple and intuitively clear Web interface. All basic operations such as creating users, websites, domains, mailboxes, are performed by a couple of mouse clicks.
VPS owner has his/her own copy of the operating system with root level access rights and his/her own IP-addresses. You may install your own custom applications or customize / modify any application software available to you in the same way as you would do it on a separate physical server.
